Ghitha’i Application - Case Study
This case study explores how artificial intelligence can support healthier lifestyles through thoughtful design. The goal was to create an experience that feels personal, simple, and motivating, addressing common frustrations many people face when trying to eat better.
Problem
Solution
After identifying the challenges users face with generic and overwhelming meal planning tools, I designed a mobile app called Ghitha’i, which means “my nutrition”. The app uses AI to deliver personalized meal plans, smart grocery lists, and adaptive feedback. By tailoring the experience to each user’s goals and lifestyle, it simplifies nutrition and empowers users to build healthy habits with ease.
User Research
I conducted interviews and a survey to explore users’ habits, struggles, and needs around healthy eating.
User Persona
Based on the insights, I created a user persona to guide the design decisions and align the solution with real needs.
Mid-Fidelity
I began with mid-fidelity wireframes to define structure and user flow before adding visual detail.
Style Tile
I chose a color palette that reflects “Health and Freshnes” using soft greens and clean contrasts to support a calm and motivating experience.
High-Fidelity
Refined visuals brought the concept to life, focusing on clarity, consistency, and user-friendly interactions.
Prototype
The video showcases the core user flow and main features in action.
Conclusion
This project challenged me to blend functionality with simplicity while solving a real-life problem. It strengthened my process in research-driven, user-centered design and showed me the power of thoughtful AI integration.
